School Year Calendar Age Groups

Following extensive review and discussion, US Soccer, US Youth Soccer, AYSO, and US Club Soccer have collectively decided to move to an age group player formation cycle that runs from August 1 to July 31 starting with the 2026-2027 season/registrational year.

This change was made based on critical feedback, data, and expert input to better align players with their school-grade peers.

At BRYC Academy, we are having discussions with each age group coach and staff to review how the changes will impact current (2025-2026) rosters. Meetings will be scheduled for each age group to share and discuss the club’s approach to roster construction for Fall 2026.

Age groups for the seasonal year that begins August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027
